The Brown Family

HI!  We are Kyle and Naomi Brown. We're thankful you're taking a moment to hear about our story.

We had always planned on having kids but wanted to wait until after Kyle finished graduate school.

We first started trying to get pregnant back in 2017. We struggled for many years to conceive naturally and tried fertility treatments without success.

We basically got burned out and wanted to take a break for a while. This break turned into years filled with uncertainty and thoughts that we might not ever have children and that God might not want us to be parents.

We had many discussions about potentially doing IVF treatments or just facing the reality of not having kids at all. We battled with these thoughts until we heard about the adoption and foster care initiative that our church was starting. We attended an interest meeting and both felt God might call us to become adoptive parents.

We prayed and fasted and felt God was calling us to adopt; we were completely at peace with this decision. It was exciting but overwhelming initially resulting in us dragging our feet and never taking our first step. We heard a sermon at our church where our pastor said something that really spoke to our situation. He said, "Pray, guess, go". This was really an affirmation for us to trust God and be obedient and it gave us clarity to finally start the process of becoming adoptive parents.

We are so blessed to have the opportunity to help a mother and baby in need. This is a great representation of what God has done for us as Christians and what we, as Christians, should strive to do for others.

The Dantz Family

Hi, we are Jeremiah & Elizabeth Dantz!

I have dreamed of being a mother for a long time. Similarly, I have always wanted to adopt. I knew that God had placed this desire in my heart. I am so convinced that this is what I am meant to do.

When I think of how God has loved us and adopted us as His children, my most natural reaction is to extend that same love to adopt a child.

While my heart has always known adoption would be a part of my future, Jeremiah and I also hoped to have a biological child. Initially, we planned to have a biological child first and then adopt. However, that was not God's plan.

We have tried for approximately two years to grow our family. Infertility has certainly been an interesting journey. It was one that I did not want. Despite the heartbreak month after month, God's goodness has overflowed. Facing infertility and all it meant was a mountain I did not believe I could climb. The thought of never bringing a child into this world was crushing.

But God.

God mourned with me and held my heart. I knew that the love I would have for an adopted and biological child would be no different but God really solidified that in my heart. God has chosen our baby from before the foundations of the world to be a Dantz: nothing can change that. Because of the love God has placed in our hearts for this baby, He is using us as instruments to bring them into our family just like every other parent. If I never birth a child from my womb, I am at total peace. Adoption is not our "backup" option. It has always been a part of God's plan for our life, and it is beautiful. Adoption is not or never will be less than. We cannot wait to see God grow our family through adoption!”
